This is my friend Xavier who I saw the other day (6/13/03).  We hadn't seen each other since she and I graduated from high school in 1992!  She moved to Columbus, OH after graduation and we lost touch for a long while.

This is my mom and me on a Spring day in 2002.  We donated a Saturday to the City of Detroit for its first "Motor City Makeover".  We helped clean up about 10 vacant lots.  We got sweaty, dirty, and little stinky that day, but we also had fun while contributing to a good cause.  Funny how I'M the one who works for the City but I ended up in the back!!!  What's up with that?

Below are some pictures from my trip to Disney World in Orlando, FL on 6/21-28/03.  Terry and I stayed in Daytona Beach so that we could have an ocean view from our hotel room.  We drove there and back.  That drive was soooo long!  I thought we'd NEVER get there, but we did, and we really enjoyed ourselves....so much that we are ready to go back.  But next time we're flying!

While we were in Florida, we spent a day at Kennedy Space Center in Cape Canaveral.  Below are pictures from the visit, including a space shuttle, rockets, and the huge assembly building where the space shuttles are assembled.
